Support Ally Thibault's Fight Against Cancer

To our local community & beyond —

It is with heavy hearts that one of our long-term employees and friend, Phil Comeau’s girlfriend, Ally Thibault, recently received news that nobody expects to hear. Ally, who will be turning 34 this month, has been diagnosed with Angiosarcoma — a blood vessel cancer which has since led to her lungs. Although Ally wasn’t a direct employee of ours, we are a small, tight-knit community in Tahoe City, and Ally plays a big role in it. She worked at Pass It On Thrift, is an avid outdoorsy girl who loves to snowboard and camp, and even played on the Tahoe Dave’s softball team this past summer.

With recent doctor visits, it became clear that Ally and Phil needed to act quickly and made the decision to temporarily move to Boston so she can receive the best medical treatments in the country. We are coming together as a community to raise funds for Ally and Phil to help pay for these unexpected times, including medical bills, transportation, and basic needs such as food and rent. Your contribution will not only help ease the financial burden, but it will also provide Ally with strength and encouragement to fight this.
