Support Ally and Mike After Fire and Surgery

Hi, my name is Jenny and my daughter and son-in-law, Ally and Mike Gerdes, had a baby boy on April 4th, 2025. Ally labored for 48 hours, and shortly after delivery, she had to be rushed into emergency surgery. We almost lost her due to significant blood loss. Ally had to be in ICU for 32 hours without her baby. Mike was the best dad and stayed in the hospital room with Beckett while Ally recovered. It was a very difficult time for both of them. Many tears of joy were shed when Ally was reunited with Beckett.

On April 14th, Ally and Mike had a house fire. Ally and I were home at the time, and we were able to get out with Beckett and the dogs safely. The fire was primarily contained to the kitchen, but there is smoke damage throughout the house.

Mike and Ally have been through a lot in the past couple of weeks. The fire and unexpected medical expenses have put a financial burden on them. They have insurance for the fire, but they have a very high deductible. They will be displaced from their home while the kitchen is renovated, and painting and flooring are done. Any contributions to help them out would be greatly appreciated.
