Support Allissa Briggs' Baby in Her Fight Against RSV

Hi everyone, on October 10, 2024, we started to notice our 3-week-old was very sick but we’re not sure how bad it would be. That night, we rushed her into CHOA where she tested positive for RSV at 3 weeks old. At this time, our little girl is fighting a really hard virus, but she is making progress in areas. We still have many tests that will keep us here longer, and she is still requiring oxygen to help her prevent having episodes in her sleep. October 14 our sweet girl was rushed into ICU and is fully being sedated she is in on a breathing tube & feeding tube. Her right lung collapsed as well. We have been told that we will be in the hospital for awhile and not sure how long she will be sedated.

I, Allissa Briggs, am currently on maternity leave and not receiving any income at this time, and now dad is currently out of work to be here at the hospital. We still have bills we need to make sure are taken care of while being in the hospital.
