I am creating this Go Fund Me on behalf of my aunt, Allison. In December, she began having migraines that affected her vision. After an MRI, the doctors discovered that she had a fist-sized tumor on her pituitary gland. She had surgery to remove the tumor during Christmas and has been on her road to recovery since then. At a recent, follow up appointment, we learned that because the tumor is so aggressive, they want to do radiation to make sure that it does not come back; fortunately, the tumor is benign. She will receive radiation treatments five days a week for six weeks at Vanderbilt. She has not been able to work since the beginning of December, and with this new treatment, we do not know when she will be able to go back to work. She is on several medications that are very expensive, even after insurance, and bills and travel expenses are beginning to take a toll. She has five children total, and three between the ages of two and eight. Also, we recently found out that her husband has some medical issues that are restricting him from working as well. If you have anything extra that you can contribute, no matter how small, she and our family would really appreciate it. If you do not, we ask that you pray for her during this time.
