My name is Allison, and I am a special educator, wife, and mother. Recently, I received a breast cancer diagnosis that has turned my world upside down. Over the next six months, I will need to undergo three surgeries, hormone treatment, and possibly chemotherapy or radiation. This means I will have to take time off work to focus on my health and recovery, all while continuing to care for my home and children. The sudden onset of menopause, due to stopping hormone replacement therapy, has brought additional challenges, and I am at high risk for complications that require an extremely clean and germ-free environment.

My husband and I both work, but our combined income barely covers the basics. The added costs of medical bills, medications, supplements, and recovery supplies are overwhelming. On top of that, we need extra support for childcare, meals, cleaning, and laundry to keep our home safe and healthy during my treatment and recovery. Every day brings new uncertainties, but I am determined to fight for my health and be there for my family.
