Support Allison Richards in Her Leukemia Battle

As many of you know, our dear friend Allison Richards was recently diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia), a rare and aggressive blood cancer. The last couple of weeks have been extremely challenging both physically and emotionally for Allison. Thankfully she’s in good hands while being treated at OSU Comprehensive Cancer Center.

This diagnosis has definitely been a shock to the Richards family and to all those who love and care for Allison. Allison is the epitome of Christ-like love and service. She is always helping and caring for others as well as caring for her 5 children at home, while supporting her husband Chad in his very demanding surgical residency. The Richards family have given so much and now we have the opportunity to give back and support this wonderful family in their time of need.

The funds from the Go Fund Me will go directly to Chad and Allison. Chad will be set up as the beneficiary. It will be used to help alleviate the heavy financial medical burden that has been placed upon them. Allison’s treatment will be a long road as they fight for her cancer to go into remission. This can take months to years depending on her specific case. The money will also be used to help support the Richards family in whatever they stand in need of while Allison is battling leukemia away from them.
