Support for Allison Gonzalez

Allison Gonzalez, our dear friend, is facing a sudden and life-threatening medical crisis. On Tuesday, September 8th, Allison was driving home from work when she began experiencing signs of a heart attack. She called her husband, Hector, to explain what was happening, and he urged her to call an ambulance right away. Allison was taken to a hospital in LaGrange, where she was observed and her pain was managed. Because of a blockage, she then developed sepsis. On Thursday morning, Allison was rushed into surgery and coded during the procedure, but the medical team was able to revive her. She was later transferred to Baptist East ICU, where she has remained in intensive care as she continues to fight for recovery.

Allison is a beloved mother, grandmother, newlywed wife to the love of her life, Hector, a group fitness instructor, a speech therapist, and a valued member of her community. This unexpected emergency has placed a heavy emotional and financial burden on Allison and Hector. Funds raised will help with medical bills and everyday living expenses while Allison is in intensive care and as her family navigates the difficult days ahead.
