Help Allie Endo Fight for Her Life
We’re reaching out to ask for your support, love, and prayers for a brave and beautiful 16-year-old girl, Allie Endo.
On May 15th, Allie had her wisdom teeth removed and soon after tested positive for Flu B. While both are normally manageable on their own, the combination triggered a severe and rare complication: myocarditis — a serious inflammation of the heart.
After rapidly declining, Allie was rushed to the ER and transferred to the PICU, and then airlifted to Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston. She was very close to cardiac arrest. Her heart and lungs were under such extreme strain that doctors had to place her on ECMO, a form of life support, to give her body a fighting chance to rest and recover. She is now in the Cardiac ICU, sedated and surrounded by an incredible team of specialists.
Allie can’t receive visitors or flowers right now, but she can receive your prayers, positive energy, and support. Her mom and dad, who have barely left her bedside, describes the fear and heartbreak of seeing her daughter surrounded by tubes and machines, with only a few inches of skin left to touch. Allie is a fighter, and we believe with everything in us that she can beat this — but the journey will be long and hard.
We’ve started this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden on Allie’s family so they can focus entirely on her recovery. Hospital stays, travel, time away from work, and ongoing medical needs all add up — and every little bit helps.
Please consider donating, sharing, and keeping Allie and her family in your thoughts.
