We are reaching out on behalf of our dear friend Alliesha Harris, a vibrant, hardworking, and generous soul who is currently facing one of the biggest challenges of her life.

Alliesha recently underwent serious back surgery—a procedure that was absolutely necessary to relieve debilitating pain and prevent further damage. While the surgery went well, the road to full recovery is long, and it will be several months before she can return to work and daily life as she once knew it.

Anyone who knows either Alliesha or her partner Sam, knows they are both the first to offer help and the last to ask for it. Alli is the friend who shows up when you need, the colleague who goes above and beyond, and the community member who always gives her time, energy, and love to others. Now, it’s our turn to show up for her.

During her recovery, Alliesha will be unable to work, which puts her in a tough spot financially. With mounting medical expenses, ongoing rehabilitation, and the everyday costs of living, the stress of financial insecurity is a burden she shouldn't have to bear on top of healing.
