Support Allexica's Legal Battle for Justice

On June 11, 2024 my daughter Allexica lost her only child Kennedi Casey Harris at 6 years old in a tragic ATV accident. Allexica had left Kennedi in the care of her best friend for less than 3 hours. Allexica had called her friend to tell her she was stopping at a convenience store and would be there in 10 minutes. While driving to the convenience store Allexica saw multiple vehicles at the road by her friends house. Allexica called her friend to ask if everyone was okay because of the multiple emergency vehicles. Allexica's friend assured her everyone was fine but she wasn't sure where the girls were (friend's daughter Mesa 11 and Kennedi 6). Mesa and Kennedi were the reason for the emergency vehicles. The ATV was crossing the road and had been struck by a SUV. Kennedi was DOA and Mesa died on the way to the hospital. The girls were not wearing helmets, were not being supervised, and did not have Allexica's permission to be on the ATV.

Allexica has been trying to find multiple ways to cope with the loss of Kennedi. Allexica and Kennedi both love horses. Allex has started having memorial buckles made in Kennedi's honor to give as prizes at different youth riding events. One of the ways Allexica raises money for the buckles is by selling memorial bracelets for $2. Allexica has also started a program called, "Letters to Heaven," where you can write a letter to a loved one who has passed (family member, loved one, pet, etc.). If you put a return address she will write back to you. If it is for a child she will send a comforting letter back assuring the child is being watched over by their loved one. The letters will be signed, "Love, Kennedi, a 6 year old angel."

Allexica has also started making TikToks as a way to deal with her grief and hopefully prevent others from a similar situation. Part of the TikTok journey has been setting the record straight. Allexica was getting a lot of hate from things she had no control over, so she made some TikTok's to clarify the facts of the situation, answering questions people may have, and venting her frustrations over no charges being pressed on either the driver of the SUV or the person who Kennedi was in care of.

So now the part where I am asking for your help. The mother who Kennedi was in her care has a temporary restraing order against Allexica until the court date. In the court papers she wants to have a harassment restraining order put in place against Allexica. One of the claims being that Allexica directed TikTok followers to harass her. I have looked through the comments and cannot find it. Other things that included were using Mesa's name and pictures of them (in the video montages I assume).

We all know how much Allexica's horses and these horse shows/trail rides have meant to her during her struggles with the loss of Kennedi. If this harassment restraining order were to go through this would mean she wouldn't be able to be at any location the mother of Mesa was at. Which means there would be horse shows and trail rides Allexica would have to leave if the other mother was there.

Allexica called a lawyer to set up a consultation to get representation and was quoted $4,000 for a retainer fee, which at this time she does not have. The person filing the harassment restraining order does have the money and will be represented by an attorney. I don't feel things will go in Allexica's favor if she does not have legal representation. So I'm asking if you feel you can donate to the legal fund it would be greatly appreciated. At this time Allexica is the only one facing legal actions, while the driver of the SUV and the person who had Kennedi in her care are currently facing none.
