Our friend, Allen Hickok, has always found freedom and joy in sailing on the open water. Tragically, a recent accident has left him paralyzed, threatening to take away his beloved hobby of sailing. But Allen's spirit isn't broken! For the past two years struggling, Allan has placed in two of Port Henry's Regattas. However, his boat's engine and transmission have seen the end of their life. Allan needs someone to assist him each time he sails. Many are not versed in the intricacies of getting an old diesel started. With an ePropulsion electric boat conversion, he can move his boat out into Lake Champlain and sail with the push of a button. However, the cost of this modification is significant. With the help of others, I am providing all of the installation labor at no charge. We're asking for your help in fundraising for the ePropulsion system and batteries.
