Allen was diagnosed with a posterior fossa ependymoma group A when he was 10 months old. He is now three. They were unable to remove all of the cancer unfortunately. He has undergone several chemo and radiation treatments. Last year it was noted that he had five new growths but since the growths have been little and he has been stable. He has several deficits and several doctor appointments. He has an a tube that helps him eat since he has difficulty swallowing, he has chronic Asthma, he is mostly deaf and he has a lot of balance problems. These are just a few of the complications he faces. No matter what he is always happy. He is tough as nails. He loves his older brother and sister. He is an outstanding child that my family and I have been blessed to know. We are asking for some funds to help with gas going to Columbus, supplies that our health insurance doesn’t cover and medications that we have to buy because insurance doesn’t cover. The doctor believes allen may have damage to his lungs frkm cancer treatment and he now has started oxygen at night. Due to the complexity of his illness we need to move closer to the hospital since we drive 1.5 hours to the hospital and then 1.5 hours back. Even if you’re unable to donate thank you for reading about Allen and sending good vibes. I hope everyone has a good day.
