update: as of today June 30th- Carl Allen Welch gained his wings and soared to his final resting place. He will be forever missed and was loved by all who knew him. Please continue to share and donate to help us ensure his wishes for end of life are granted.
Update: Today Allen will be transferred to a hospice center for end of life comfort care. He has enjoyed all of the visits and phone calls and have really made an impact on his mental state. He has smiled so much and has found peace with his decision. Please continue to pray and support us as we make his final wishes a reality for him. Thank you to all who have donated- we will be forever grateful!
Family and friends, it brings me overwhelming sadness to inform you that Allen (Carl) has made the decision to enter hospice care. As many of you are aware, he has struggled for many years with life-altering medical diagnoses that have impacted his daily life tremendously. He has made the decision to terminate dialysis treatment and enter comfort care measures. He has many health ailments that have crucially impacted his quality of life.
Unfortunately, we are now in the process of planning for his end-of-life services and are in need of assistance to ensure he is able to be granted his final wishes for his send-off. This man is remarkable and strong and just all-around special to all who know him. A beloved father, brother, life partner, and friend. Unfortunately, funerals, cremations, etc., are very costly. If you could please assist in any way to help us fulfill his final wishes, his sister and I would be forever grateful. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
The funds will be used for his end of life services and celebration of life service.
