Support Allen's Recovery After Knee Surgery

Allen has worked at Mt. Olivet as a facilities staff member since 2022, working diligently to support the Church, its congregation, and its outreach programming. Through all his work, Allen has demonstrated his humor, determination, and unyielding commitment to support Mt. Olivet to the best of his ability. Whether it be setting up for Loaves and Fishes, cleaning the Fellowship Hall before a funeral, or keeping the Church clean and ready for Sunday, Allan works hard in everything he does. Anyone who has had the pleasure to talk with him can attest to the quality of his person.

Earlier this year, Allen injured his knee. After receiving his diagnosis he’s worked to support himself through significant pain. At the end of October, Allen will undergo reconstructive knee surgery. However, the recovery period for this surgery will last two months. During this time, Allen will be unable to work and thus be unable to pay his rent and for other necessities of life.

We are creating this GoFundMe to help support Allen during his recovery, and give back to a man who has given this Church so much. Whether it be $5, $10, $20, any donation to support Allen is greatly appreciated and will be used to fund Allen’s cost of living during his recovery. We ask that as a community, we give back to the staff essential to Mt. Olivet’s operation and to show up for a man we know and love.
