Allannah is a sister, a healer, and a deeply loved friend to so many of us.

Over the past several months, Allannah’s health has taken an unexpected turn. She has undergone extensive testing and met with multiple doctors and specialists, all trying to understand what is happening in her body. Despite many appointments, clear answers have been difficult to find.

This fall, Allannah was referred to neurologist specialists. At this time, they believe her symptoms may align with a very rare form of ALS. This has affected her verbal and physical mobility and prevented her from doing the work she loves so deeply.

Allannah is a deeply respected guide and teacher who has spent years helping others navigate change with presence, compassion, and clarity. She has supported many people through some of the most meaningful and challenging moments of their lives.

This fundraiser exists to help cover the very real and immediate costs that have come with this health crisis. Because there are limited treatments for ALS identified and covered by traditional insurance, the cost of consistent and sustained treatment for a period of time to ameliorate the condition are difficult to sustain. Funds will help support medical expenses, specialist visits, care and mobility support, and the everyday costs that arise when health becomes the primary focus.

"To each of you extending your care and generosity: I can't thank you enough. My heart expands with a gratitude I can hardly articulate. After extensive tests, and my own and others' research I believe there is a regimen of treatment to move through ALS, a condition primarily labeled as incurable. There are both anecdotal and research-based reports that convey and show treatments outside the traditional medical system (FDA approved etc.) that not only ameliorate but give back the full range of mobility and vitality that ALS robs you of. I believe and have been deeply guided to know I can move through this condition--and not only find my way to health and vitality again but create a pathway to healing for many who are given a diagnosis and then offered little treatment other than physical therapy, a single drug with minimal effect, and palliative care. Our bodies are meant to heal, and I know I am meant to move through this not only for myself but others too. With so much love and faith, how do I say, 'Thank you."'
