Ali's High School Experience

Many of us remember high school as the good 'ol days. The activities, sports, extracurriculars and, of course, trips with friends are often recalled with nostalgia. Once into adulthood, we often pass down wisdom, urging teens and young adults to enjoy life while they can before the realities of living with less financial support and extracurricular freedom begin.

I wholeheartedly support that idea, but it does become costly. So many of you already contribute to her living 'her best life' and I am so grateful. I just wanted to create this option to potentially broaden that assistance and consolidate it into one area where I can provide details and costs, as well as hopefully lessen the burden for those of you who always have our backs.

Those of you who know Ali are well aware that she is an amazing, talented, intelligent young woman who is nonstop in her commitment to several activities. She's currently involved with Marching Band (percussion), DECA, Oceanography, Hosa, and that's just at school. She's also a part of Troop 10(10) and picks up work either as a job (when she has spare time) or by doing odd jobs for family/friends whenever she has an empty calendar square. She is relentless in her pursuits of learning, growing and helping others.

So, this is for her; to help her go to and do every beneficial trip/activity that her heart desires. To her future and the memories she'll look back on when she gets there!

We are currently raising money for her DECA trip to the Sports + Entertainment Marketing Conference in Orlando, FL on January 28-February 1. "When it comes to learning from the professionals in these popular industries, this conference cannot be rivaled." I'll list that, then the regular/repetitive costs and how much is left or paid. I'll update as needed or when things change.

**London(Band)** - $4200 (2024/25-Cancelled)

Potential trip to march in London's New Year's parade in 2025/26. It was unfortunately cancelled this year due to heightened risk levels of international travel for US citizens, which was to be the first year the band returned to London after COVID-19. Everyone is hoping to be able to return for what will be Ali's senior year.
