Hi! my name is Alison Aponte, a 20 year old expanded functions dental assistant who wants to become a hygienist. Ever since I started working in the dental field, I've been passionate about helping patients achieve their best oral health. My current role allows me to assist with a variety of dental procedures, giving me invaluable hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of patient care. My ultimate goal is to further my education and skills to become a dental hygienist, where I can play a more direct role in preventative care and patient education. I am committed to continuing my journey in the dental field and make a positive impact on the lives of my patients. However, this will take a lot of financial sacrifice that I can’t do on my own, and while my parents can help me financially, and I can apply for FAFSA, it’s still a lot of money. Balancing work, school, and financial responsibilities can get overwhelming, but I am determined to pursue my dream. That’s why I’m reaching out for support to help cover the costs of tuition, books, and other educational expenses.
