On behalf of my little sister, Alisha Shear, I am asking for your help during one of the most difficult times of her life. On Monday, June 29, 2026, while riding her motorcycle home from work in Leominster, Alisha was the victim of a hit-and-run accident at the intersection of 5th Street and Cedar Street. The vehicle believed to be responsible is a gold Chevy Malibu, but the driver has not yet been identified. Alisha was rushed by ambulance to UMass Trauma Center, where she is undergoing testing and receiving medical care. Right now, so much remains unknown. We don't know the full extent of her injuries, how long she'll be unable to work, or what her recovery will look like. Along with the physical and emotional trauma, Alisha is now facing a heavy financial burden. If the driver is never found, she could be left responsible for medical expenses, the damage to her brand-new motorcycle—which she had only recently replaced after a previous accident—and her monthly bills while she's unable to work. Anyone who knows Alisha knows she has a heart of gold. She would give the shirt off her back to help anyone and is always the first person there when someone needs her. She's never one to ask for help herself, which is why I'm asking on her behalf. This past year has brought Alisha more challenges than most people could imagine, yet she has continued to work hard and keep pushing forward. We are beyond grateful her angels were watching over her that evening and that she is still here with us. If you are able to donate, no amount is too small, and every dollar will help Alisha focus on healing instead of worrying about finances. If you're unable to donate, we completely understand. Sharing this fundraiser and keeping Alisha in your thoughts and prayers means more than you know. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support.
