Hello, my name is Monica. I’am trying to raise money for an unexpected dental emergency for my daughter Alisa, who was recently hit in the face with a metal tennis racket. It happened on accident by another girl, on her schools tennis team. My daughter was standing in the vicinity of the other girl when she swung her racket, and struck my daughter. Alisa was in extreme pain and embarrassed with blood, running down her face and clothes.

2 of her teeth were completely broke in half exposing the nerve and 2 of her other teeth are now loose along with her lip being busted.

She’s been devastated over the incident, and would love to have her smile restored.

Prior to this tennis practice, we had literally just left the dentest. All just to return on an emergency. Alisa had also just spent years wearing braces, and had recently had them removed .

We have dental insurance from work, but they cover barely anything! As our dental plan only has $200 left for available use for 2024 ,until it renews again for next year. Also The cost of crowns are out-of-pocket since it’s considered cosmetic.

She’s in need of 2 root canals and 2 crowns as of now…as long as her loose teeth tighten up from the trauma and hopefully don’t need to be pulled, as the dentist “Plan B “was proposed, in a worst case scenario. She will also need to have her retainer remade once the major work is complete.

So far we’ve Had several follow up dentist appointments since the accident and I can only do so much until I raise the money needed for full treatment.

Luckily she had just taken her senior school photo the day before the incident. However, I’d like to make sure that this 17 year old, good student is able to regain her confidence back by having her front teeth properly fixed.

I signed the papers from the dentist to start the work, hoping to at least help her cover the damage temporarily. However, I have no idea how I’m going to pay for the permit crowns to be installed, as I wasn’t able to qualify for more credit at this time,

Unfortunately, this is the third major incident we’ve had in the last 3-4 weeks and financially I just can’t keep up.

For example, Alisa was just in a car accident a few weeks ago, as a passenger while in a friend’s car and received nothing from Insurance for her injuries. Also leaving me with a medical bill and her left with a knee injury & whiplash. Unfortunately, it seems to be one thing after another at this point

This is our first time ever creating a GoFundMe or reaching out for any kind of help/support.

We’ve taken many losses on quite a few situations and there’s been several other unexpected financial woes, we’ve worked our way through over the past few years, with other extreme medical expenses, for not just us but pets as well.

I’ve simply exhausted my resources to be able to handle this one situation, at this time. So would greatly appreciate anyone that can help support & donate anything to help my daughter get back to normal.
