We’re raising support for our colleague and friend, Alisa, who has recently been dealing with a series of overwhelming life challenges—all hitting at the same time.

On top of navigating major personal stress and needing to move from her home in the coming months, her older car has been failing and becoming increasingly unsafe. Last week, while driving home, her car began to malfunction. Already under significant pressure, she became overwhelmed and fainted behind the wheel. She lost consciousness before she could safely pull over and ended up hitting a parked car. Thankfully no one was hurt, but she spent several hours in the ER and now faces car issues, impound fees, and a required DMV review before she can continue driving.

Alisa didn’t ask for help—she simply shared what happened so we’d know why she may need some time away. But we want to come together to ease some of the unexpected financial strain this incident has added to an already heavy season.

Our goal is to raise funds to help with:

• Car repairs or replacement

• Impound and related transportation costs

• General financial relief as she prepares for an unexpected move
