Life can change in a moment without warning, which is what happened on 8/8/25 when Alisa received a diagnosis of triple negative breast cancer. This is a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer with a high rate of recurrence. On 9/25, Alisa had lumpectomy surgery to remove the tumor, and will undergo a combination of chemo and radiation beginning in a couple weeks.
Alisa is a Registered Nurse and has had to take an FMLA leave to be able to have surgery and complete treatments. Her husband Nick is working reduced hours so he can physically support Alisa and their family while Alisa is undergoing treatments and is healing.
Alisa and Nick have a blended family of 10 children, the youngest being 7 years old. They are also proud grandparents to 7 grandchildren. The grandchildren call Alisa "Lolli." Alisa has dedicated her life to providing care as a nurse and being a mother and "Lolli." The love she gives to everyone is a selfless love, as she always puts everyone before herself.
Alisa is passionate about spreading awareness for Breast Cancer and hopes to inspire all women to get checked regularly.
If you are unable to make a monetary donation, please lift Alisa and her family up in prayer!
Thank you for your donation, love and prayers and support!
