Our family is going through a very difficult time as a loved one faces addiction. This time, the relapse has been more severe, and our family is scared—scared of what could happen and scared for everyone impacted, especially the children. Despite that fear, our focus is on coming together with strength, compassion, and hope. Ali is on her way to rehab after being in the hospital for some time. Her health took a turn for the worse but is recovering. When she returns home from rehab, it's so important to us she feels seen, cared for, and surrounded by people who believe in her healing and recovery. We want Ali, our sister, cousin, Tia, madrina, daughter, wife, friend, and mother to know she is loved, supported, and not alone in this battle. We are raising funds to help cover essential needs, including medical expenses and the many unexpected costs that come with this journey. Any support, whether through a donation, prayer, or by sharing this message, means more to us than we can express. On behalf of the Mercado and Mejia family, we thank you for your kindness and all your prayers for Ali during this time.
