Hi, my name is Stephanie. I live in Canada and the co-organizer is Cloe who lives in Australia. Before this genocide began, Ali Jebril played wheelchair basketball for Palestine, loved to volunteer and work with children, and was (and continues to be) a vocal advocate for the disabled population.
Ali's home was reduced to rubble. What is the family to do? Winter is fast approaching in Gaza and the entire family are displaced in tents with ZERO disability access. Gaza experiences freezing nights, wild winds and flooding rains in winter.
We need to ensure the family has funds to try to find more substantial shelter before winter hits. Wonderful news that his brother Tareq and his wife just had a a new baby girl! But they require warm clothes and bedding, diapers, and formula to ensure she survives and thrives.

"My name is Ali Jebril, a wheelchair athlete and disability advocate from Gaza. Before the war, I played wheelchair basketball and worked to support people with disabilities in my community.
Now, I am fighting for my life....the suffering is great. I cannot walk in a wheelchair in Khan Yunis. The infrastructure is very difficult.
I have a medical referral for treatment outside Gaza, but I cannot leave because I don’t have the funds for travel, medical costs, and basic needs.
At the same time, my family of 10 people, including 4 with disabilities, are struggling to survive in a small tent after our home was destroyed.
We urgently need your help to cover:
- Travel and medical treatment expenses
- Food, clean water, and hygiene supplies
- Medicine and medical equipment
- Temporary shelter and essentials for my family
Every donation will bring me closer to receiving the medical care I need and will help my family survive these extremely difficult days.
Please, if you can, donate or share this campaign widely."

Ali's elderly father is paralysed down one side of his body and suffers from severe circulation complications such as painful large ulcers on his body. Ali is unable to navigate any of the surfaces in his wheelchair. His elderly mother also requires a walking aid and his sister Reema is blind.
Please please continue to give and share. The family has no other source of income but these donations.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts,
Team Ali x
