Support Ali's Battle Against Brain Cancer

Dear friends and family of the Lewis Family,

I am reaching out to you on behalf of my dear friend Ali, who is facing one of the toughest battles of her life - cancer.

Ali is not just a friend; she has always been there for others. Offering a helping hand, a listening ear, and a heart full of generosity. I am asking for help and support during this immensely challenging time in her life.

Recently Ali experienced a severe headache with facial pain and it was initially believed to be a complex migraine. After initial scans, the Lewis family was informed Ali had a brain tumor and their battle started. Ali has spent the last few weeks in Maryland receiving the highly specialized care she needs at John Hopkins Hospital. Ali underwent 5 hours of brain surgery to resect as much of the tumor as possible and was able to be sent home to recover after two days in the ICU. The pathology results have shown Ali will be fighting a stage 4 melanoma of the brain. Ali will require specialized care and treatment available at John Hopkins Hospital in Maryland including chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy. During this involved treatment Ali will need to travel back and forth frequently to Maryland while Stephen, Sawyer, and Tegan remain in Florida for work and school.

While so much is uncertain going forward Ali, Stephen, and the children have placed their trust in God for his faithfulness as they walk this journey. Your generosity can help ease the strain of the financial hardship they will face. Here are a few ways you can show your support.
