Support Alin's Treatment at Amen Clinic

Hi, I’m Nicki, and I’m raising funds for my husband, Alin. Some of you may remember our journey with our little heart warrior, Cruz. Over the last few years Alin’s mental health has declined drastically and continues to worsen. We have been to so many therapists and psychiatrists, and he’s been diagnosed and misdiagnosed several times over, put on too many different medications to count, and tried many different therapies, all to no avail. He’s tried short term and long term facilities, one for a week, one for two weeks, and one for a month. He got into hard drugs trying to somehow to somehow numb his brain, and he did a month inpatient to beat that addiction. He has disappeared into thin air, attempted to live in the streets homeless, and had three suicide attempts so far, none of them taking his life when in all reality they should have. He has not been able to work at all since last June due to his mental health deteriorating so badly and just recently got diagnosed with arterial thrombosis and he has a blood clot in his heart that the doctors are trying to get rid of. They said it’s from taking the Covid vaccine, which he only took to save Cruz’s life because they told us Cruz couldn’t be on the heart transplant list unless we took the vaccine. He is doing heparin drips to try to dissolve the clot, and if that fails he will need surgery to remove it. They also say that the vaccine could be causing a lot of the really severe mental health issues, alongside all of his extreme early childhood trauma. I have been doing a lot of research into complex mental health problems and complex PTSD, which we think he has, and I found a clinic in Dallas called Amen clinic that I think may be able to help him. Some of you may be familiar with Dr. Amen’s book titled “Change Your Brain, Change Your Life”. The Amen clinics do actual brain scans so they can see exactly what is going on inside the brain. They can pinpoint what is overactive and what isn’t working correctly at all, and then they put you on a very specific treatments, meds, supplements, diet, and therapies for your specific brain needs. After 6 months to a year, they go in and do another scan and they show how the brain has healed. They have very good success rates with 85% of people showing drastic improvements in only six months. The total cost for several brain scans and three days of clinics totals $6,494. Since Alin hasn’t been able to work, and I have only been working part time, I don’t have that kind of money right now to be able to get him there. This has all been very difficult for Cruz as well and I can’t stand the thought of him losing his daddy. I have reached the end of my rope and I have been praying about it and wanted to reach out and ask for help. Thank you for reading this and please keep us in your prayers. May God bless you all. ❤️
