Hello everyone, my name is Aline Argueta I’m from Los Angeles California. I’m currently a senior in high school. That’s involve in student ambassadors at school, as well as being part of community work outside of my school. As I won community defender in 2024 for the fighting the rights of tenants and being their voice and fighting for tenant justice. i’m a very passionate student when it comes to pressuring my goals and aspirations in life, with one day even opening up my own law firm. I want to college and double major in political science and economics as well as get a minor in liberal arts. To be able to provide generational wealth not only my Family but the family of my future kids and the next generation. When this opportunity got presented to me to go and travel to the city that never sleeps, which would be New York City. I felt extremely excited and grateful to be able to go, This trip isn’t like any other trip; it is a lifetime opportunity for me to get to do a tour of one of my dream schools, which would be Columbia University and be able to get to see a new environment outside of my normal day to day life. As I get ready to graduate high school and go on to college, it would mean a lot to me if I was able to go and visit where I might be spending the next 4 years of my life. All the money that will be raised will be able to cover my expenses for the trip, including food, transportation, plane tickets, as well as hotel accommodation.
