My two year old granddaughter, Alina, was attacked by the family dog last night in the kitchen of their home on August 16, 2024. What started as a normal day, quickly turned tragic. Around 9:30pm, everyone was getting ready for bed and that’s when they heard Alina screaming in the kitchen. My daughter rushed to find Alina lying in a pool of the blood. It was then that my son in law, who is a Marine vet, took over and started applying the necessary pressure to save his daughter’s life. At that time, an ambulance was called and she was immediately taken to a children’s hospital in Wisconsin. It was determined her left ear was shredded and she also had a 2.5” laceration on her neck, both would require surgery. As you could imagine, Alina lost a lot of blood.

The purpose of this go fund me is to possibly raise funds to help assist in the medical expenses that will definitely occur from this accident. We understand that this is a financially trying time for everyone and some will not be able to donate… and that is okay. Your prayers would be most appreciated. Please say a prayer for a successful surgery and speedy recovery. We also ask that you pray for my daughter and son in law. Times like these are never easy, more so when it involves your own child.
