Our dearest Miss Alina, a teacher in the Lilac classroom, needs support from our Growing Tree community. In the last 8 weeks, her son’s 18 year old girlfriend was tragically hit and killed by a reckless driver, her son was in a car accident leaving her funeral, and yesterday, her 33 year old sister passed away unexpectedly. Alina lives in Seattle with her partner but the rest of her family is in California.

We are hoping to raise enough to fund a trip for her to travel to California for a week so she can take some much needed time to grieve the events of the last months with her closest friends and family.
