I am creating this fundraiser for myself and my family as we come together to build the funeral for my father after his untimely death. His passing was sudden, and the weight of this loss has been overwhelming for all of us. We are doing our best to support one another while also trying to handle the many urgent decisions and expenses that come with laying him to rest. This has been an incredibly painful time for our family, and we were not prepared for how quickly everything would happen.

The support from this fundraiser will help ease some of the impact of this sudden situation by covering the cost of cremation, travel, and other substantial bills related to the overall circumstances. Goldendale was incredibly important to my father, but even more than the town itself, it was the people of Goldendale who meant so much to him. Being there and feeling connected to that community brought him happiness whenever he was in town, and that is something our family will always hold close. Every contribution will help take some of the financial pressure off my family so we can focus on grieving, remembering my father, and being there for each other. It is not easy for me to ask for help, but right now we truly need support.
