Support Alijah’s Fight Against FSGS
Donation protected

My son Alijah is currently facing a difficult battle with a rare kidney disease called FSGS. Because of his condition, he is immunosuppressed and unable to be around people, which has made life especially challenging. Alijah has been hospitalized three times in the past three months, and each stay brings new challenges, including strict fluid intake and diet restrictions. He isn’t able to enjoy his favorite activities, like playing outside and being active, without quickly becoming exhausted. Watching him miss out on the things he loves has been incredibly hard for our family.
Right now, Alijah is hospitalized battling an infection, which has further complicated his kidney disease. This has made things even more difficult to navigate, even for his doctors, as certain labs will improve while others that had been stable decline. We have been fortunate to receive leave donations, which have allowed me to continue being paid for now, but that support will run out soon. Micheal is currently on unpaid leave due to Alijah’s hospitalization, which will further increase our financial strain. Alijah also has two siblings at home, Ava and Audrey, who haven’t been able to spend a full week with him since this began, and the emotional toll on them has been significant. We are facing extensive medical bills, travel costs, and daily needs, making it difficult to keep up. We are reaching out for support to help cover these expenses so we can focus on Alijah’s care and well-being. Any help will make a meaningful difference for our family as we navigate this journey together.
