Hi! My name is Alicia and I'm here to support mental health by raising money to donate to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) charity.
It dawned on me that people run marathons, 10Ks, 5Ks, and walks to support causes important to them, so why can't I? What I'm doing is a bit different. I'm changing my body, my mentality, and my habits to compete in a fitness competition this December. This requires almost hourly awareness and mental toughness to follow a strict meal plan and workout schedule every single day, without cheating!
I've undertaken this journey to better myself, to see if I can actually do it and in honor of my family. I plan to give 70% of whatever is raised to NAMI. Please donate whatever you feel is right; whether that's $1 or $100. Every bit helps to support this much-needed cause, and my journey to the stage in December!
