Greetings,

I am starting this Gofundme on behalf of my friend and sister, Alicia Crudup. Alicia, her husband Shaun, and their children have suffered a devastating loss. As you know, the recent newlyweds purchased a beautiful new home a little over a year ago. In the early morning hours of this past Friday while the family was sleeping, their garage caught on fire and the fire spread to their home. Fortunately, their youngest son was able to wake up his entire family and everyone escaped wearing only the clothing they went to sleep in before the rooms caught fire.

Firefighters worked well into the morning to put the fire out and when the fire was extinguished, they were left with only a shell of their home. They were able to salvage very little of their personal items that were not destroyed by the fire.

While they are grateful for life, they are challenged by this temporary setback. Shaun and Alicia have big faith (and homeowners insurance) and are confident everything will be restored in due time.

Alicia and Shaun have given to the community in countless ways. Can we support them during this trying time in the same ways that they have shown up for so many of us? Anything you can give to support them in this interim would be greatly appreciated.
