On July 14, 2025, our beloved father, Reymundo “Shorty” or “Mundo” Vasquez, passed away in Sacramento, CA. Our hearts are broken as we say goodbye to a man who meant everything to us — a father, a brother, a grandfather, an uncle, and a friend. Our dad was one of a kind — strong, funny, stubborn, and incredibly loving. He was gentle with his five daughters and fiercely protective of us. Music was his soul. He had a passion for DJing, collecting records, and bringing joy to others through sound and laughter. He had a way of making people laugh even during the hardest times and always knew how to lift our spirits. We’re reaching out during this difficult time to ask for your help. We want to give our dad the farewell he deserves — one that reflects the love, strength, and warmth he brought to all of our lives. Any funds raised will go toward covering funeral expenses, memorial services, and helping our family stay afloat while we grieve and make arrangements.
