Support Alicia Vargason's Fight Against Cancer
Donation protected
Our sister Alicia Vargason was recently diagnosed with cancer. It was caught relatively early, but unfortunately the doctors are not able to simply remove the cancer. Her treatment requires her to undergo 6 weeks of chemo and radiation. Her doctors are very
hopeful for a full recovery but have warned her that the treatment will be very hard on her physically and mentally. She will not be able to work during this time and sometime after treatment ends based on how she responds. As some might know, her husband Bryan
Vargason is a self-employed landscaper and was recently out of work for most of a year due to an injury. This caused a significant loss of income from which they were trying to recover. Alicia and Bryan have 3 young children: Charlee (12), Madee (10) and Leah (9) who
are dealing with this news as best they can but will see their mother go through some scary changes soon.
Alicia will have to travel to Syracuse for treatment 5 days a week for the next 6 weeks. She will not be able to drive herself and that will require Bryan to miss out on work as well.
Our sister (proud and stubborn) is not one to ask for help. She’s usually the one stepping up to help others. So here we are kindly asking for it. Any help for our sister and her family during this difficult time would be appreciated with our heartfelt gratitude.
We sincerely thank you in advance for your time in reading this and thank you for any help you are able to send.
