Hi, my name is Alicia Morales, and I am 27 years old. I currently reside in Port Angeles, WA, a very small community in Washington State.

At just 27 years old, I am facing the battle of a lifetime. Three years ago, I was diagnosed with Fatty Liver Disease and was asked to change my diet, lose weight, and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

About six months ago, I started not to feel well, was very fatigued, had no appetite, was depressed, and confused. After I finally was able to see a doctor, I was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis, a condition I never imagined would strike me at such a young age.

This devastating news has turned my world upside down. Liver cirrhosis has left me feeling constantly fatigued, in pain, and unable to live the active life I once enjoyed. Unfortunately, my condition has progressed to the point where a liver transplant is my only chance at survival, if I qualify.

The cost of medical care, including transplant surgery, post-operative treatments, and ongoing medications, is overwhelming. Even with insurance, the financial burden is staggering.

This is where I humbly ask for your help.
