Hi, I’m Erin! I’ve been a friend of Alicia’s for several years now. I’m an RN, an avid dog lover, and a huge Alicia fan. I’ve had the privilege of watching she and her children grow. She’s a light inside and out and a wonderful friend and mom. Enough about me though!

I’m setting up this fundraiser as a means to help a fellow Christian, mother, and pastor’s wife in need. For those who don’t know, Alicia and her husband both have incredible testimonies of putting their faith and trust in the Lord. Alicia has never shied away from being open and honest about the hell Jesus pulled her out of in her life. She and her husband have been in full time ministries for years now. They even gave it all up to be full time missionaries around when the economy tanked the last couple of years and were unable to raise enough funds to go full time. This past spring/summer, her husband accepted a position at Taneytown Baptist as the full time youth pastor but unfortunately, he gave into his fleshly desires and picked up his former addiction, alcoholism, and dove head first down the bottle after many years of sobriety. He’s a violent drunk and he attacked Alicia in August and has been in jail since. This has left a devoted pastor’s wife and mom, homeless and destitute, having to couch surf essentially with her five children. She has started doing hair again as a means of income but it will take time to build her client base back up and have steady income. Through it all, she has maintained decorum on social media and has not given into airing dirty laundry and continues to take her 5 children to church every Sunday and serve despite her husband’s absence. This fundraiser is to help her find somewhere stable for her and her children to live and call home and also be able to get things like healthcare.
