Support Alice's Heart Transplant Recovery
Donation protected
I am raising funds for a 10 yr old little girl named Alice that had to have a heart transplant unexpectedly.
She went to school one morning like normal when her mom got a phone call from the school nurse saying she needed to be picked up and taken to the local hospital in their area. After 48 hours she was transferred to Upstate, then to Rochester, and finally to NYU for what turned out to be a heart issue. She quickly had to have surgery for an Impella to assist her heart and then was put on the heart transplant list. She had been having a couple of medical issues before this but never anything heart related. On October 16th, Alice had the 10-hour surgery to get her new heart and, thankfully, it was successful. She still has a long road to go for full recovery in New York City which is about 6 hours from home.
All funds will help her family with medical expenses, travel expenses, and lodging so they can stay in the city while Alice continues to recover.
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
