Please Help my friend Alice Chiffriller Steele who suffered a life changing injury

Life can change in an instant – that is exactly what happened to our dear friend Alice.

On July 10, 2024, Alice suffered a fall, which resulted in a left-sided broken patella (kneecap) and a right-sided fibula fracture. She underwent emergent surgery to repair her kneecap, after which she was going to physical therapy 3x a week and continuing PT at home daily. Due to surgical complications, severe post-operative arthritis and arthrofibrosis, she had limited range of motion and increased pain leading to a Complex Total Knee Replacement with hardware removal in February of 2025. Unfortunately, Alice still struggled to gain range of motion and underwent yet another procedure- manipulation under anesthesia.

Throughout all of this, Alice went through an aggressive course of physical therapy until her medical insurance stopped paying, as she reached the limit of PT visits for the calendar year and must now self-pay to continue treatment.

Alice has been unable to work for over a year now and has accrued an exorbitant amount of medical expenses. She is still facing a long road to recovery that will require continued physical therapy and pain management.
