Please help this family be able to bury their mom.

On Monday, July 15, Alice Holsomback joined her husband Bobby, and her son Scott, in Heaven.

The family is struggling to come up with the money to pay the funeral home to be able to bury Alice, and other related expenses. $4k has been promised, only if she is buried, rather than cremated. Neither is in the budget of this family, who've spent their live giving to others, even when they don't have it to give.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Alice. She was truly an angel on this earth.

Unfortunately, she had quite a few health issues that made it impossible to afford any pre-planning or life insurance. .

Alice left behind 3 children: Pam is the eldest, and she's had several health issues that have taken all the spare money she has, which included 3 surgeries in the last year. Kerry, who was crushed in a work accident many years ago, leaving him disabled and unable to work. And Jeff, who has spent the majorityof his life beinga pastor at a small church in Alabama.

I have lowered the initial request down from 12k, because of some outside donations, although, again, part of those are contingent on being able to have the amount necessary to bury her.

The money is going directly to Pam, although we might end up changing that to be directly to the funeral home, if necessary.

The funeral home is requiring payment no later than early tomorrow morning, the 19th, which is the planned date of the service. Charter Funeral Home, Calera AL.
