We are coming together to commemorate and celebrate the life of Alice Gould. She was recently called home to be with the Lord on August 31, 2025. Ms. Gould was a prominent teacher who taught all over the Omaha area. Since 1977, she has educated several generations of students. In her last days, she was still teaching and doing what she loved. In addition to being an educator, she was a mother, sister, and great friend to many. Alice took pride in giving back to her community, always faithfully helping those in need.

We are now asking the same community she poured so much into to help fulfill her wish of being laid to rest in her hometown of Newark, Maryland. Following her homegoing celebration on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Prince of Peace Baptist Church, the viewing will start at 9 a.m. and the service will begin at 11 a.m. Our beloved Sis. Gould valued her people, culture, and heritage, so if you can, any African kente attire is encouraged, or black and gold for her alma mater's school colors. Either way, please come express your solidarity, support, and love for a phenomenal woman.
