Hello Everyone!

My name is Alia and I'm 31 years old.

I love watching horror movies, baking, reading, and learning new things! And if you must know, my favorite horror movie franchise is either The Conjuring, Saw, or Final Destination, and my baking specialty is making delicious treats for those with various dietary restrictions, like people with heart disease or celiac disease.

As I write this, it is my 36th day in the hospital. I'm currently struggling with medical complications due to an incorrectly placed feeding tube. The hospital tried repeatedly to correct the positioning of the feeding tube; however, the repeated procedures caused an infection in my blood stream, leading to septic shock and a week-long stay in the ICU.

I have not been able to work for over a month and now risk losing a job I just started in January that I really love. My recovery from this hospitalization will be long, and I have to go to an inpatient rehabilitation center for rigorous physical therapy so I can learn how to walk properly again.

I have exhausted all of my resources, including my savings, all available community, county, and state funding - even family and friends. I started an Etsy shop for digital templates I make on Canva, I'm an amazon affiliate, and I have a blog that tells more about my story.

All of this is to say I need help catching up. My most important medical supplies alone actually cost more than my rent. The cost of moving back home is 20x the cost of my rent, and due to my condition, I am limited in where I can live, as I have to be quite close to many specialists to receive my care.
