Hello! My name is Kayla and I am from Texas. I am organizing this fundraiser for the courageous Ali (17) and his two brothers, Mohammed (12) and Saleh (10). Ali and his siblings are orphaned Palestinians from Gaza who are now displaced in the North due to war. Ali's life was turned upside down due by conflict, facing the overwhelming challenges of navigating an unfamiliar life while caring for his brothers. In our conversations, he shared him and his brothers would avoid seeking refuge in areas suitable for human life in order to avoid being bombed. Though this is not a reality any child or individual should face, this is Ali's reality amid a time in his life he should be experiencing simple joys. With limited resources, the everyday cost of necessities like food, water, and Ali's education have become impossible for Ali to handle. By supporting and contributing to his fund, you can ensure Ali and his brothers have access to meals, water, and that Ali is able to continue studying to transform their futures– which in the face of heartache, grief, destruction, violence, captures Ali's bravery, strength, and determination to his education. Ali's tiktoks do not have high engagement nor does he have an english advocate to aid him, thus I am assisting Ali in sharing his story, uplifting his voice, and getting him donations. No child should ever have to bear such heavy burdens alone and together, we can show Ali that he isn't.
