I've created a new GoFundMe to accommodate my situation so people stop thinking I've reached my goal.

My name is Ali and I'm a single mom struggling to make ends meet. I don't have family or a "village" to rely on and unfortunately, it's just me.

My job is pest control and as you can imagine, the bugs have slowed down. With that, my work. Even missing one day of work sets off my entire check now. And work's been so slow they've just laid me off as of 10/1/25.

I have a 9-year-old son whose father is not involved and a 6-year-old girl whose twin passed when he was 3.

Mentally, I'm riding on what Ozzy would call the "crazy train."

I was able to get a bed, an oil change, some gifts for my kids, and a dryer from some very nice people in my community and for that, I couldn't be more thankful.

I moved into my own apartment on Sept. 23. Barely made the down payment because my work overtaxed my end-of-summer bonus. I thought they were going to fix it but it's been determined that they are not.

I am currently paid up on my rent for the month of October. I now need help with November. I am looking for assistance until I can start my new job or hopefully get called back to work. I've been door dashing as much as I can but it's been weeks and now I have no insurance. Nighttime is busiest and it's dark early and dashing is scary as a woman but I do as much as I can.

My phone/Netflix, etc. (all tied into a contract) is $200. That was due the 8th and can't be pushed any further than the 25th.

I'm just a mom on her own and not many in my corner. I'm feeling defeated and ready to give up. People say horrible things to/about me saying I'm looking for handouts and it makes asking for help feel terrible. But I don't have any choice. It's either this or lose my place that I worked so hard for. I just need assistance until I can get caught up.

I went from a stay-at-home mom to homeless with nothing but a car to my own place in a matter of 3 months. I can do this. I just need help.
