Ali and Eleanor are grieving the loss of Peter, Ali's husband and Eleanor’s father. They are now navigating deep sadness while shouldering new responsibilities and daily challenges.

In the midst of this heartbreak, friends and family have asked how they can best support Ali and Eleanor. One of the most meaningful ways to help is by easing the burden of day-to-day necessities, like grocery expenses and bills.

We are creating this fundraiser to set Ali and Eleanor up with regular grocery deliveries from Berkeley Bowl (her favorite local grocery store), helping to take one essential task off Ali’s shoulders as she navigates this difficult transition, allowing her to stay present with Eleanor and focus on healing. This funding may also be used to pay for other basic needs.
