Support Alfred's Ocean Palace Hurricane Recovery Efforts

Dear Friends and Family,

We’re reaching out with heavy hearts but hopeful spirits. Hurricane Melissa has left Alfred’s Ocean Palace and much of our Negril community deeply affected. We are still without power, water is intermittent, and parts of the restaurant, bar, and guesthouse were damaged.

After pushing through COVID and multiple storms, this one has brought operations to a standstill. With no electricity, banks and credit card systems down, and supplies cut off, we’re unable to operate or generate income — and our staff and their families are feeling the weight of that too.

For decades, Alfred’s has been more than a spot on the beach. It’s where people have celebrated milestones, watched their kids grow up, joined us on the boat, and gathered for fireworks under the stars. We want to bring that feeling back — but we can’t do it alone. Funds raised will go directly to helping rebuild damaged structures and supporting our staff so we can reopen sustainably. This includes restoring power and water, replacing damaged equipment, and making improvements to better withstand future storms. Our goal isn’t just to recover, but to rebuild stronger — creating stability for our team and the generations of families who depend on Alfred’s.

Every bit helps us rebuild the Alfred’s Ocean Palace you know and love — and keep this place alive for everyone who calls it home by the sea.

With gratitude,
Cindy & Alfred
