My dad, Alfonso Mireles, has recently been diagnosed with cancer, and our lives have changed overnight. Watching someone so strong, active, and hardworking suddenly unable to be himself has been one of the hardest things our family has ever faced.

If you know my dad, you know how much he loves the beach, fishing, fixing up his Land Rover, and spending time with his family. He’s always been the one helping others, staying busy, and putting his family first. Now, he’s the one who needs help.

Through all of this, my dad and our family are holding tightly to our faith. We believe in God’s strength, and we are trusting Him to guide us through this difficult journey. Our faith is what gives us hope, even on the hardest days.

As he begins this fight, he must travel to San Antonio for procedures, surgery, and ongoing treatment. Between medical expenses, travel costs, and time away from work, the financial stress is overwhelming.
