Support Alfonso Rodriguez Jr's Medical Recovery

Dear Family, Friends and Supporters

In January of 2025 my father Alfonso Rodriguez Jr was admitted to the hospital suffering from a severe bacterial infection and sepsis in his leg. It was a life threatening situation therefore he was flown out of state to Colorado. While being treated in a special unit for bacterial infections he received 9 surgeries to clean out the bacteria. Also, a final surgery for a skin graft was done. He then remained in the ICU unit for a couple weeks. Unfortunately he could not have visitors at that time. It was very difficult not being able to be with him.

My father’s recovery was slow and painful but he survived this devastating situation. We are very grateful that the bacteria was removed and his leg was saved without having to be amputated . He was there over a month and then transported to a rehabilitation, therapy facility in Colorado where he remained another month. He was finally released to go home. Due to all the surgeries and treatments of hospital, rehabilitation stays he’s left with costly medical bills. He will need to have constant care and therapy while he continues to recover.
