Support Alfie's Family Through Fire Recovery

Hi Everyone,

We are raising money to support our beloved teacher Alfie. His family has been displaced due to the devastating fires in Altadena. Alfie lives in the Bay Area and has been traveling to LA to support his family as they regroup and rebuild.

Thankfully Alfie's family home is still standing. But due to the fire, smoke and winds there was considerable damage done to the home. The roof was blown completely off, some windows broke allowing smoke and soot into the home. All of the food in the house has spoiled due to the fact there hasn’t been electricity and water for 2 weeks. The walls and insulation in the home are contaminated from the smoke and toxic chemicals, so the house is uninhabitable for the foreseeable future. Alfred’s parents, sister and 4 pets have been displaced.

Alfie is a preschool teacher who shares so much joy and kindness with our children. He's also a standup comedian. His life's work is making others smile.

Funds will be used to help cover duplicative housing costs, pet care and overall allow them opportunity to continue to support their community through these difficult times.
