Following a very serious road traffic collision last Sunday Alfie, who was the passenger at the time in a works van returning home, has suffered severe trauma including the amputation of his foot. He is currently critically ill in hospital with his family around him. Friends of Aimee, Alfie's Mum, are desperate to do anything we can to help and support the family. With that in mind we start this GoFundMe page in order to raise some money to help in a practical way. We want to try and alleviate the worry about returning to work too soon, so Aimee can be where she should be at this critical time, by Alfie's side. In addition to this, Alfie, who had a future career ahead of him on the basketball court, is going to need a plethora of equipment including in all probability, a prosthetic. As friends, family and community, we can come together and show we care by donating whatever we feel able to, to help Alfie on his long, difficult and traumatic road to recovery. Thank you.
