Hi, my name is Alejandro, or Alex for short. I'm 35 years old and have End Stage Renal Disease. In January, I suffered a heart attack which led me to have open-heart surgery to replace my aortic valve and enlarge the root. Since then, I've been going through recovery and starting the healing process. But unfortunately, I'm still not able to work due to physical restrictions and my chest still healing.

I'm not the one to usually ask for handouts, but now I need a hand. I receive disability every month, but it's not enough to get by, and bills are piling up. I have 2 sons which I help take care of. They are my whole world.

I really need help right now. I hope to be back to work soon, but only time will tell how long.
